Bartington Instruments complies with UK Government regulations regarding the export of controlled goods. Some of the equipment we manufacture requires an export licence to leave the UK territory, depending on:
Military goods exported to any destination require an export licence issued by the UK Export Control Organisation. Bartington products classified as military use and requiring an export licence are as follows:
Dual-use products, defined as products with noise levels <10pTrms/√Hz at 1Hz, require an export licence when shipped outside of the EU. This category also includes the Helmholtz Coil System. For further details on Dual-use products and destination, please refer to the Dual-use Export Licence page.
End-use Controls are controls which are based on the application that the products exported will be used for. This is a 'catch-all' category which can apply to any destination and any products. We may at the time of enquiry ask for further details about the application and the end-user so as to check whether a licence will be required based on End-use controls.
In order for Bartington Instruments to apply for a licence on your behalf, an End-User Undertaking form will need to be completed and returned to us. Guidance on the completion of the document are included in it. However should some assistance be required, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
