Job - Accounts Assistant

Bartington Instruments Ltd is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for the finance department. 

The Role Reporting to the Company Accountant, the role will involve assisting with the administration of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and other information systems within the scope of the finance department.

Main Duties
  • Daily matching and input of purchase invoices, and monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Preparation of suggested payments reports
  • Input and allocation of supplier payments
  • Analysis of and data entry for petty cash and credit card transactions
  • Assisting with administering sales and dispatches, including producing sales invoices and delivery notes
  • General administration tasks
  • Support the finance team on an ad-hoc basis in other areas
  • Other duties as requested by a Manager or Director of the Company
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Highly numerate
  • Accurate, with excellent attention to detail
  • Methodical and organised
  • Able to prioritise workload
Salary Salary depending on capabilities and experience.

The position is full time for 37.5 hours per week.
