Quality Policy

It is the objective of Bartington Instruments to develop and manufacture products of consistently high quality and to supply these products on time and in accordance with statutory and stated customer requirements.

The directors and staff will promote a culture of continuous quality improvement throughout the activities of the business.

This is achieved by working to systematic procedures within a Quality Management System based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 together with the specific quality requirements of customers, as appropriate.

The Company’s Quality Objective is to enhance customer satisfaction through:

1. Ensuring on-time deliveries

2. Reducing warranty returns

3. Improving supplier performance

4. Ensuring product development on-time and on budget.

In order that these objectives can be achieved, it is a formal requirement that all employees comply with the Quality Management System as defined in the Quality Manual and detailed in the Operating Procedures, Production Manuals and Work Instructions. Deviations from these procedures will only be allowed with the formal authority of the Management Representative responsible for the co-ordination of changes to procedures prior to implementation.

Compliance with, and effectiveness of, the Quality System will be checked through a formal audit programme and the annual Quality Management System review meeting.

This statement represents the commitment of Bartington Instruments to the principles of Quality Management.

It is an essential requirement of the Bartington Instruments training programme that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the organisation.
