Our Story
Bartington Instruments designs and manufactures precision fluxgate magnetometers, gradiometers, magnetic susceptibility instruments, Helmholtz Coil systems and associated data acquisition equipment.
The company was founded in 1985 and, in 40 years, has gained extensive experience in the development and manufacture of magnetic field sensors with maximised sensitivity, minimised noise, wide bandwidth, and low power consumption.
Around 75% of our products are exported worldwide to customers working in varied industries, including aerospace, land/sea/air defence, surveillance, security, space, physics, geophysics, manufacturing, archaeology, medicine, oil and mineral exploration, and more.

Bartington’s sales staff are here to help you with all aspects of product selection and purchase. This continues through to training and support. We have a great deal of experience with a wide range of product applications. This means we can offer you constructive advice and information, to ensure that you are using the best products to achieve your goals.
