Product Repair Service

If your Bartington product has developed a fault, or has been damaged, you can return it to us for repair. This service covers product repairs. For product calibration visit the online shop.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Before sending your product, please complete the online RMA enquiry form.
  2. We will let you know if we think the product is repairable. Do not send your product to us if we have said that it cannot be repaired.
  3. By arrangement with our service team we will issue you with an RMA number and a return address for your equipment.
  4. We will email you to confirm receipt of the product.
  5. We will inspect the product.
  6. We will email you again within 5 working days of receipt, to provide you with a quotation for the repair cost, an estimated delivery time, and a request for your approval to proceed.
  7. Confirmation to proceed is given by completing the payment through the link provided on the pro forma.
  8. On receipt of payment, we will repair the product.
  9. We will email you to confirm when we have shipped the product back to you.

The assessment time for most Bartington products is usually 5 working days from receipt of your instructions to proceed. Complex repairs may take longer.

If the product needs to be sent to an external facility for repair, the repair time will be longer.

If you are returning a product from outside the UK, which requires an export licence, we may need to apply for a new export licence before returning the products to you.
